Sec. 392.063. PROJECTS FOR FARMERS OF LOW INCOME.

(a)A county, regional, or merged housing authority may borrow money, accept grants, and exercise its powers to provide housing for farmers of low income.
(b)As the authority considers necessary to assure the achievement of the objectives of this chapter, in connection with a project for farmers of low income an authority may enter into a lease or purchase agreement, accept a conveyance, and rent or sell housing that is part of the project to or for farmers of low income. The lease, agreement, or conveyance may include covenants that the authority considers appropriate regarding the housing and the land described in the instrument.
