Sec. 383.053. MEETINGS AND NOTICE.

(a)The board may establish regular meetings to conduct district business and may hold special meetings at other times as the business of the district requires.
(b)Notice of the time, place, and purpose of a meeting of the board shall be given by posting the notice at a place convenient to the public in the district. A copy of the notice shall be furnished to a clerk of the county, who shall post it on a bulletin board in the county courthouse used for that purpose.
(c)Except as otherwise provided by this chapter, Chapter 551 , Government Code, applies to the meetings of the board. Any interested person may attend any meeting of the board. SUBCHAPTER D. POWERS AND DUTIES
