Sec. 351.141. FINAL APPROVAL AND CONVEYANCE BY BOARD.

(a)On receiving the final construction inspection report, the board shall give notice and schedule a public hearing to determine whether the jail facility is complete as specified in the district's plans and in the contract.
(b)At the hearing, the board may require the presentation of any additional information or testimony necessary to make a determination, and the receiving county, if any, may have its representative attend the hearing and present any information and testimony that the receiving county considers necessary.
(c)At the conclusion of the hearing, if the board determines that the work on the jail facility is complete, the board shall pass a resolution to convey the jail facility to the receiving county subject to the re
