Sec. 281.047. CONTRACTS OVER $50,000.
(a)This section applies to a contract that is for materials for, or construction of, facilities and that is for an amount greater than $50,000.
(b)The board shall advertise the letting of a contract, including the general conditions, time, and place of the opening of the sealed bids. The board shall publish the notice once a week for two consecutive weeks in one or more newspapers published in the county. The first publication must be before the 14th day before the date the sealed bids are opened.
(c)A contract under this section may cover all facilities of the authority, or the various elements of the facilities may be segregated for the purpose of receiving bids and awarding contracts. A contract may provide that the facilities will be constructed
