Sec. 981.222. APPLICABILITY OF OTHER LAW. In addition to the requirements of this chapter, the administration and regulation of a surplus lines agent's license is governed by Title 13, except that the provisions of Sections 4001.002 (b)(2)-
(6), 4001.003 , and 4001.004 and Subchapters C-G, Chapter 4001 , do not apply to a license issued under this subchapter.
