Sec. 843.157. REHABILITATION, LIQUIDATION, SUPERVISION, OR CONSERVATION OF HEALTH MAINTENANCE ORGANIZATION.

(a)The rehabilitation, liquidation, supervision, or conservation of a health maintenance organization shall be treated as the rehabilitation, liquidation, supervision, or conservation of an insurer and be conducted under the supervision of the commissioner under Chapter 441 or 443 , as appropriate.

(b)The commissioner may also order the rehabilitation, liquidation, supervision, or conservation of a health maintenance organization if in the commissioner's opinion the continued operation of the health maintenance organization would be hazardous to the enrollees or to the people of this state.
