Sec. 463.059. MEETINGS BY TELEPHONE AND VIDEOCONFERENCE.

(a)Notwithstanding Chapter 551 , Government Code, or any other law, the board or a committee of the board may meet by telephone conference call, videoconference, or other similar telecommunication method. The board may use telephone conference call, videoconference, or other similar telecommunication method for establishing a quorum, voting, or any other meeting purpose in accordance with this section regardless of the subject matter discussed or considered by the board at the meeting.
(b)A meeting authorized by this section is subject to the notice requirements that apply to other meetings.
(c)The notice of a meeting authorized by this section must specify the location of the meeting.
