Sec. 424.208. OFFSETTING TRANSACTIONS.
(a)Subject to this section, an insurer may purchase or sell one or more derivative instruments to wholly or partly offset a derivative instrument previously purchased or sold, without regard to the quantitative limitations of this subchapter.
(b)An offsetting transaction under this section must use the same type of derivative instrument as the derivative instrument being offset.
