Sec. 2210.062. ADMINISTRATION BY CONTRACTED ADMINISTRATOR AUTHORIZED.

(a)Notwithstanding any other law, if determined by the commissioner to be in the best interest of the policyholders and the public, the commissioner may contract with an administrator to manage the association and administer the plan of operation.
(b)The commissioner shall adopt rules as necessary to implement this section if the commissioner determines management of the association and administration of the plan of operation by an administrator is in the best interest of the policyholders and the public.
(c)The administrator must hold either a managing general agent license issued under Chapter 4053 or a third-party administrator certificate of authority issued under Chapter 4151 . SUBCHAPTER B-1. PAYMENT OF LOSSES I
