Sec. 2210.055. LEGAL COUNSEL.
(a)The association shall establish a plan in the plan of operation under which the association's legal representation before the department and the legislature is without conflict of interest or the appearance of a conflict of interest as defined by the Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct.
(b)The association shall adopt separate and distinct procedures for legal counsel in disputes involving policyholder claims against the association.
