Sec. 2210.051. COMPOSITION OF ASSOCIATION; REQUIRED MEMBERSHIP.

(a)The association is composed of all property insurers authorized to engage in the business of property insurance in this state, other than insurers prevented by law from writing on a statewide basis coverages available through the association.
(b)As a condition of the insurer's authority to engage in the business of insurance in this state, each insurer subject to Subsection (a) must be a member of the association and must remain a member for the duration of the association's existence. An insurer that ceases to be a member of the association remains liable on insurance contracts entered into during the insurer's membership in the association to the same extent and effect as if the insurer's membership in the association h
