Sec. 1652.152. OUTLINE OF COVERAGE.

(a)To provide for full and fair disclosure in the sale of Medicare supplement benefit plans, a Medicare supplement benefit plan or certificate may not be delivered or issued for delivery in this state unless an outline of coverage that complies with this section is delivered to the applicant when the applicant applies for the coverage.
(b)The commissioner by rule shall prescribe the format and content of the outline of coverage required by Subsection (a). The rules must address the style, arrangement, and overall appearance of the outline of coverage, including the size, color, and prominence of type and the arrangement of text and captions.
