Sec. 1551.454. PARTICIPATION IN PROGRAM.
(a)Each individual eligible to participate in the basic coverage may choose instead to participate in the state consumer-directed health plan if the plan enrollee is an eligible individual under Section 223(c)(1), Internal Revenue Code of 1986. The dependents of a plan enrollee may participate in the state consumer-directed health plan in accordance with Section 1551.455 .
(b)Participation in the state consumer-directed health plan qualifies a plan enrollee to receive a contribution to a health savings account under Section 1551.456 . An individual who elects not to participate in the plan is not eligible to receive a contribution under that section.
(c)Under this section, the board of trustees has exclusive authority to determine an individual's
