Sec. 1551.358. NEGOTIATION.
(a)Notwithstanding any other provision of this subchapter, the board of trustees and a person who has standing to pursue an administrative appeal under this subchapter may at any time informally negotiate an award of benefits.
(b)Negotiated benefits may not exceed the maximum benefits otherwise available or required by law.
