Sec. 1271.203. EFFECTIVE DATE OF DESIGNATION.
(a)The effective date of the designation of a nonprimary care physician specialist as an enrollee's primary care physician under Section 1271.201 may not be applied retroactively.
(b)A health maintenance organization may not reduce the amount of compensation owed to the original primary care physician for services provided before the date of the new designation.
