Sec. 401.067. LOCAL GOVERNMENT INSPECTIONS.

(a)An agent or employee of a local government may examine and copy during regular business hours records relating to activities licensed under Subchapter F. Examinations and copying of records must be done at the local government's expense and subject to limitations in Chapter 552 , Government Code.
(b)Records copied under this section are public records unless the record's owner shows to the satisfaction of the commission that the records if made public will divulge trade secrets. On such a showing, the commission shall consider the copied records confidential.
