Sec. 242.308. LICENSES; TEMPORARY LICENSE; INACTIVE STATUS.

(a)A person who meets the requirements for licensing under this subchapter is entitled to receive a license. A nursing facility administrator's license is not transferable.
(b)A person licensed under this subchapter must notify the department of the license holder's correct mailing address.
(c)A license is valid for two years. The executive commissioner by rule may adopt a system under which licenses expire on various dates during the two-year period. For the year in which a license expiration date is changed, license fees payable on the original expiration date shall be prorated on a monthly basis so that each license holder shall pay only that portion of the license fee that is allocable to the number of months during which t
