Text of section effective until September 01, 2026 Sec. 40.024. TERMS; VACANCY.

(a)Members of the council serve for staggered six-year terms, with the terms of three members expiring February 1 of each odd-numbered year.
(b)A member of the council may not serve more than two consecutive full terms as a council member.
(c)A vacancy on the council shall be filled in the same manner as the original appointment.
