Sec. 152.1521. LIBERTY COUNTY.

(a)The Liberty County Juvenile Board is composed of the county judge and at least two citizens of Liberty County appointed by the county judge with the approval of the commissioners court. The juvenile probation officer may be appointed as a public member. The public members serve two-year terms.
(b)The commissioners court may pay the juvenile board members additional annual compensation in an amount set by the commissioners court. The additional compensation is for the added duties imposed on the members and shall be paid in equal monthly installments from the general fund or any other appropriate fund of the county.
