Sec. 152.1331. JONES COUNTY.

(a)The Jones County Juvenile Board is composed of the county judge, the district judges in Jones County, and the judge of each statutory court designated as a juvenile court. The juvenile court judge may appoint one public member to serve on the board for a term set by the judge.
(b)The juvenile board shall elect one of its members as chairman at the beginning of each year.
(c)The commissioners court shall pay the judges on the board an annual salary set by the commissioners court at not more than $5,000, payable in equal monthly installments from the general fund or any other available fund of the county. The public member serves without compensation.
(d)The chief juvenile probation officer may set the salaries and allowances of juvenile probation personne
