Sec. 152.1271. JASPER COUNTY.

(a)Jasper County is included in the East Texas Juvenile Board. The juvenile board is composed of the county judge and the district judges in Jasper, Newton, Sabine, or San Augustine County.
(b)The judge of the 1st Judicial District is the chairman of the board and its chief administrative officer. The juvenile board shall elect a county judge on the board to serve as vice-chairman.
(c)The Commissioners Court of Jasper County may pay the county judge of Jasper County additional annual compensation in an amount set by the commissioners court.
(d)The commissioners courts of the counties included on the board may pay the district judges on the board additional annual compensation in an amount set by a majority of the county commissioners of the four counties.
