Sec. 101A.203. FUNDING TO AREA AGENCIES ON AGING.

(a)The executive commissioner by rule shall adopt a formula that meets the intent of the Older Americans Act of 1965 (42 U.S.C. Section 3001 et seq.) for allocating among area agencies on aging funds that the department receives under the Act.
(b)The formula must provide for the allocation of the funds among the area agencies on aging according to the most recent population estimates available from the Health and Human Services Commission.
(c)The executive commissioner shall update the formula biennially and the department shall include the formula and population estimates in each state plan on aging.
(d)Unless otherwise provided for by department rules regarding the carryover of unexpended funds allocated under this section, at the end
