Sec. 74.1625. PROHIBITED TRANSFER OF CASES.

(a)Notwithstanding any other law, the judicial panel on multidistrict litigation may not transfer:
(1)an action brought by the consumer protection division of the attorney general's office under Subchapter E , Chapter 17 , Business & Commerce Code; or
(2)an action brought under Chapter 36 , Human Resources Code.
(b)Repealed by Acts 2025, 89th Leg., 2nd C.S., Ch. 7 (H.B. 16 ), Sec. 12.11(5), eff. December 4, 2025.
