Sec. 550.0204. BENEFIT ELIGIBILITY FOR PILOT PROGRAM PARTICIPANTS.

(a)To allow for continuation of financial assistance and supplemental nutrition assistance benefits and reduction of the benefits using a slow reduction scale, the pilot program will test extending the benefits for at least 24 months but not more than 60 months by waiving:
(1)the application of income and asset limit eligibility requirements for financial assistance and supplemental nutrition assistance benefits; and
(2)the time limits specified by Section 31.0065 , Human Resources Code, for financial assistance benefits.
(b)The commission shall freeze a participating family's eligibility status for financial assistance and supplemental nutrition assistance benefits beginning on the date the participating family enters
