Sec. 511.0145. ENFORCEMENT ACTIONS.

(a)The commission shall adopt rules establishing a system of graduated, escalating enforcement actions the commission is authorized under this chapter to take against jails under the commission's jurisdiction that:
(1)have not made timely progress correcting noncompliance issues; or
(2)have failed multiple inspections within a certain number of years as determined by the commission.
(b)The rules must establish time frames for the commission to take certain graduated, escalating enforcement actions against jails.
(c)The commission shall develop a schedule of actions to guide the enforcement actions the commission may take under rules adopted under Subsection (a). The commission shall make the schedule available on any publicly accessible Internet web
