Sec. 501.015. PROVIDING DISCHARGED OR RELEASED INMATE WITH CLOTHING AND MONEY; BURIAL EXPENSES.
(a)When an inmate is discharged or is released on parole, mandatory supervision, or conditional pardon, the department shall provide the inmate with:
(1)suitable civilian clothing;
(2)money held in the inmate's trust account by the director;
(3)cash, in an amount and in the manner described by Subsection (b); and
(4)a personal identification certificate obtained under Section 501.0165 , if available.
(b)When an inmate is released on parole, mandatory supervision, or conditional pardon, the inmate is entitled to receive $100 from the department and transportation at the expense of the department to the location at which the inmate is required to report to a parole officer by the parole divi
