Sec. 44.192. GREGG COUNTY.

(a)The criminal district attorney of Gregg County shall represent the state in all criminal cases in the district, county, and justice courts of Gregg County, and in the municipal courts of the county if the defendant is charged with violating a state law, and shall represent the state in all cases in Gregg County in which it is the duty of a county or district attorney to represent the state.
(b)The criminal district attorney has all the powers, duties, and privileges that are conferred by law on county and district attorneys.
(c)The criminal district attorney shall collect the same fees that are provided by law for county and district attorneys.
