Sec. 411.014. BUILDINGS AND EQUIPMENT.
(a)The state shall provide the necessary buildings, offices, and quarters for the department and its officers and employees in Austin and other places in the state where district headquarters are located. The state shall provide furniture, fixtures, automobiles, motorcycles, horses, firearms, ammunition, uniforms, appliances, and other materials necessary to the proper functioning and operation of the department.
(b)The department's physical plant in Austin is under the department's control and management for the use and benefit of the state in the discharge of the official duties of the department.
