Sec. 41.312. IMMUNITY.

(a)The following persons are immune from liability for good faith conduct under this chapter or Chapter 841 , Health and Safety Code:
(1)a member of the board of directors;
(2)a member of the executive board;
(3)the chief of the unit;
(4)the counselor serving the unit; and
(5)any other employee or officer of the unit.
(b)A court shall immediately dismiss any action asserting a claim against a person described by Subsection (a) that arose from the person's good faith conduct.
(c)This section does not affect a defense, immunity, or jurisdictional bar available to a person described by Subsection (a).
