Sec. 403.613. INCENTIVE PERIOD.
(a)An incentive period pertaining to an eligible project is a period of 10 consecutive tax years specified in the agreement pertaining to the project.
(b)An incentive period may not begin:
(1)earlier than January 1 of the first tax year following the construction completion date; or
(2)later than January 1 of the first tax year following the 10th anniversary of the date the agreement is entered into.
(c)Subject to Subsection (b), the beginning date of an incentive period specified in an agreement pertaining to an eligible project may be deferred if the applicant projects that the applicant will not satisfy the minimum investment requirement applicable to the project by the end of the first tax year of the incentive period.
