Sec. 30.007802. COMPLAINT; PLEADING.

(a)A complaint filed in a municipal court of record must begin "In the name and by authority of the State of Texas" and must conclude "Against the peace and dignity of the State."
(b)Complaints must comply with Article 45A.101 , Code of Criminal Procedure.
(c)Pleadings must be in writing and must be filed with the municipal court clerk. Transferred from Government Code, Section 30.3602 by Acts 2009, 81st Leg., R.S., Ch. 87 (S.B. 1969 ), Sec. 27.001 (19), eff. September 1, 2009.
