Sec. 24.949. PENDING CASES AND PROCEEDINGS.

(a)If a county is removed from a judicial district and placed or left in another judicial district by reapportionment under this subchapter, the district clerk of that county shall, on the effective date of the reapportionment order, transfer and properly docket to the court of a judicial district in which the county is located the cases and proceedings in that county on the docket of the court of the judicial district from which the county is removed, with all records, documents, and instruments on file in connection with the cases and proceedings.
