Text

Sec. 2308.2515. APPLICATION OF PRIOR LAW.

(a)If a change in law made by House Bill 3480, Acts of the 76th Legislature, Regular Session, 1999, would have the effect of invalidating an exemption granted under the Workforce Investment Act of 1998 (Pub. L. No. 105-220), a local workforce development board may not operate under that change in law but, instead, shall operate under the law as it existed before the effective date of this Act.
(b)A change in law described by Subsection (a) of this section does not affect other related provisions or applications of a statute that can be given effect without that change in law, and to this end those other provisions and applications of the statute shall be given effect.
