Sec. 2306.126. EXEMPTION FROM PROPERTY TAX.
(a)The department may, under its terms, conditions, and rules, pay public agencies in lieu of ad valorem taxes on property that the department acquires through foreclosure or sale under a deed of trust.
(b)The department shall make payments under this section instead of paying taxes whenever practicable with money lawfully available for this purpose, subject to the provisions of any bond resolution.
