Sec. 2166.060. SITE SELECTION AND CONSTRUCTION IN TEXAS MUNICIPALITIES.

(a)The commission may select and purchase a site in a municipality in this state to construct a state office building and adjoining parking spaces if the construction is considered necessary to house a state department or agency in the municipality.
(b)The commission may plan, construct, and initially equip a state office building and adjoining parking spaces on the site selected and purchased.
