Sec. 1501.255. NOTICE OF INTENTION TO ISSUE BONDS.
(a)The governing body of the municipality may not adopt an ordinance authorizing the issuance of bonds under this subchapter until the governing body gives notice of the time it proposes to adopt the ordinance.
(b)The notice must be published in at least two issues of a newspaper of general circulation in the municipality, with the first publication being not less than 14 days before the date the governing body proposes to adopt the ordinance.
