Sec. 61.9660. TUITION SET ASIDE FOR CERTAIN LOAN REPAYMENTS.

(a)The governing board of each institution of higher education authorized by the board to award a degree or certificate in dental hygiene shall set aside two percent of tuition charges for resident students enrolled in the degree program.
(b)The amount set aside shall be transferred to the comptroller to be maintained in the state treasury for the sole purpose of repayment of student loans of dental hygienists under this subchapter. Section 403.095 (b), Government Code, does not apply to the amount set aside under this section. SUBCHAPTER BB. TEXAS FUND FOR GEOGRAPHY EDUCATION
