For expiration of this section, see Subsection (e). Sec. 61.06642. REPORT REGARDING ENROLLMENT AND SUCCESS IN HIGHER EDUCATION FOR STUDENTS WITH DISABILITIES.

(a)In this section, "student with a disability" means a student covered under:
(1)the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (42 U.S.C. Section 12101 et seq.); or
(2)Section 504, Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (29 U.S.C. Section 794).
(b)Not later than December 1, 2027, the board shall prepare and submit to the legislature a report on enrollment and success in higher education for students with a disability.
(c)The report must identify, to the extent practicable:
(1)the number and percentage of students with a disability who enroll in an institution of higher education or private or independent institution of higher education;
