Sec. 54.541. RECREATIONAL FACILITY FEE; THE UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS AT EL PASO.

(a)The board of regents of The University of Texas System may charge each student enrolled at The University of Texas at El Paso a recreational facility fee. The fee may be used only for financing, constructing, operating, maintaining, and improving new and existing recreational sports facilities and programs at The University of Texas at El Paso. (a-1) A fee imposed under this section may not exceed:
(1)$70 per student for a term or semester of 10 weeks or longer; or
(2)$50 per student for any other term or semester. (a-2) Expired.
