Sec. 54.206. FOREIGN SERVICE OFFICERS. A foreign service officer employed by the United States Department of State and enrolled in an institution of higher education is entitled to pay the tuition and fees at the rates provided for Texas residents if the person is assigned to an office of the department of state that is located in a foreign nation that borders on this state. Transferred and redesignated from Education Code, Section 54.070 by Acts 2011, 82nd Leg., R.S., Ch. 359 (S.B. 32 ), Sec. 1, eff. January 1, 2012.
