Sec. 49.255. CONSOLIDATED TAXING DISTRICT. A consolidated taxing district is a school district established for the limited purpose of exercising the taxing power authorized by Section 3 , Article VII, Texas Constitution, and distributing the revenue to its component school districts. Transferred, redesignated and amended from Education Code, Subchapter F, Chapter 41 by Acts 2019, 86th Leg., R.S., Ch. 943 (H.B. 3 ), Sec. 1.058, eff. September 1, 2019.
