Sec. 49.052. GOVERNING LAW. Except to the extent modified by the terms of the agreement, the consolidated district is governed by the applicable provisions of Subchapter D , Chapter 13 , other than a provision requiring consolidating districts to be contiguous. The agreement may not be inconsistent with the requirements of this subchapter.
