Sec. 29.9017. NOTICE REGARDING MILITARY-RELATED TRAINING PROGRAMS.

(a)As part of the high school registration process and annually, a school district or open-enrollment charter school shall notify the parent or guardian of each student enrolled in a Junior Reserve Officers' Training Corps program established under 10 U.S.C. Section 2031 regarding any early registration or scholarship program available to students in military-related training programs.
(b)The notice required under Subsection (a) must provide the student's parent or guardian with the option to share the student's data with one or more public institutions of higher education for the purpose of learning about any opportunity to participate in an early registration or scholarship program described by Subsection (a), including
