Sec. 29.042. ESTABLISHMENT AND ADMINISTRATION OF PROGRAM.
(a)The agency by rule shall establish and administer a parent-directed program for students receiving special education services through which a parent may direct supplemental services and supplemental instructional materials for the parent's student who meets the eligibility requirements for participation in the program. Subject to Subsection (c), the agency shall provide each student approved as provided by this subchapter a grant of not more than $1,500 to purchase supplemental services and supplemental instructional materials. If the agency receives more acceptable applications for a grant for a school year than available funding for that school year, the agency shall place remaining students on a waitlist for the subsequent sc
