Sec. 105.501. UNIVERSITY OF NORTH TEXAS AT DALLAS.

(a)The University of North Texas at Dallas is established as an institution of higher education and component institution of the University of North Texas System in the city of Dallas on property designated by the board.
(b)The board may accept gifts, grants, and donations and may acquire land for the University of North Texas at Dallas.
(c)The board may plan for the development of the University of North Texas at Dallas and for the academic programs offered by the university. Text of subsection effective until May 23, 2009, but only if a specific appropriation is provided as described by Acts 2009, 81st Leg., R.S., Ch. 129, Sec. 4, which states: This Act does not make an appropriation.
