Sec. 1001.402. TERMINATION POLICY.
(a)As a condition for obtaining a driver training provider license, the provider must maintain a policy for the refund of the unused portion of tuition, fees, and other charges if a student, after expiration of the cancellation period described by Section 1001.401 , does not enter the course or withdraws or is discontinued from the course at any time before completion.
(b)The policy must provide that:
(1)refunds are based on the period of enrollment computed on the basis of course time expressed in clock hours;
(2)the effective date of the termination for refund purposes is the earliest of:
(A)the last day of attendance, if the student's enrollment is terminated by the provider;
(B)the date the provider receives written notice from the student; or
