Art. 42A.154. LEAVING THE STATE. A defendant who leaves the state without permission of the judge having jurisdiction of the case is:

(1)considered a fugitive from justice; and
(2)subject to extradition as provided by law. SUBCHAPTER E. PARTIAL EXECUTION OF SENTENCE; CONTINUING JURISDICTION
