Art. 13A.304. ESCAPE; UNAUTHORIZED ABSENCE. An offense under Section 38.06 or 38.113 , Penal Code, may be prosecuted in any county in which:

(1)the offense was committed; or
(2)the defendant committed the offense for which the defendant was placed in custody, detained, or required to submit to treatment. SUBCHAPTER H. OFFENSES AGAINST PUBLIC ORDER AND DECENCY
