Sec. 251.256. VOTING BY MAIL.

(a)The certificate of formation or bylaws of a cooperative association may contain the procedures in Subsection (b) or (c), or both, for voting by mail.
(b)With notice of a meeting sent to members of the cooperative association, the secretary may include a copy of a proposal to be offered at the meeting. If a mail vote is returned to the cooperative association within the specified number of days, the mail vote shall be counted with the votes cast at the meeting.
(c)The secretary may send to a member of the cooperative association who is absent from a meeting an exact copy of the proposal considered at the meeting. If the vote is returned to the cooperative association within the specified number of days, the mail vote is counted with the votes cast at the
