The local government investment pool in existence as of April 14, 2022, remains in full force and effect if and until the state funding board terminates the fund pursuant to this part, and is subject to the provisions of this part. The funds invested in the local government investment pool must be in the custody of the state treasurer or the agents of the state treasurer for investment, reinvestment, and the administration of the fund.
